I'd never really given much thought to Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics before, but suddenly every youtuber/blogger is raving about her products and my local selfridges is getting the full counter in a couple of weeks time.
Kate and I were having a ganders around not too long ago when one of the make-up artists offered to show me some of the products on offer...naturally, I couldn't resist.
Firstly, he swiped the Colour Chameleon in Amber Haze all over my eyelid. The Colour Chameleon eyeshadow pencils are specifically designed to enhance your natural eye colour so there's plenty in different shades depending on what colour your eyes are. My eyes are brown so he thought Amber Haze was best suited for me. He also ran it a little stronger across the upper lash line too.
He then took the Rock n Kohl in Bedroom Black in a thin line across the upper lash line to thicken out my lashes a little. Now, let me tell you, once this stuff sets it doesn't budge - same goes for the eyeshadow pencil, they were extremely long lasting.
Lastly, he hit my lashes with some of the Full Fat Lashes mascara. I already had on mascara so the final look was a little too spider-like for me but it did work amazingly and it really held my curl for the rest of the day.
Come payday, I know which counter I'll be hitting up in Selfridges and I would whole-heartedly recommend Charlotte Tilbury as a brand. The products aren't too expenny, but I am a firm believer in 'you get what you pay for'.
I guess I'll be saving for that Powder & Sculpt brush though...
