Top 5 of the Moment.

This will mark the 3rd instalment of 'Top 5 of the Moment' here at The Beauty Ideal, and as I've previously stated these are definitely my favourite posts to write. I love giving sort of forgotten products some lovin' and then sharing them with you guys. 

Of course a 'Top 5 of the Moment' isn't complete without a primer and I've rediscovered my love for Bourjois' Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer. This one's great for adding illumination and hydration to my complexion (something that the Winter air strips my skin of) whilst simultaneously prolonging the wear of my foundation. I love using the Matte version in the Summer too. 

I've also been loving the Revlon cream blush in Charmed Enchantment that I picked up recently - see this post here. It adds a healthy glow to my cheeks and lasts really well throughout the day. I've found it works best when applied with the Makeup Revolution Pro F103 Stippling brush. 

Since dyeing my hair blonde, I've been able to get away with wearing more true red/ orangey red shades and I've been really getting some use out of Loreal's Collection Exclusive in Blake's Red. Like the Nudes line, this is a range of matte reds to suit different skintones. It's a comfortable formula to wear and has good lasting power.

The new mascara offering from Maybelline has been a firm fave in my makeup bag recently, the Lash Sensational Multiplying Mascara has been brill at separating and adding volume to my lashes without any sort of clumpiness or flakiness - my pet peeve when it comes to mascara. The only thing that could make this better is if they came out with a waterproof version. 

Lastly, it's been a good few weeks with this highlighter - I'm just totally besotted with it! if it was a boy I'd marry it. Makeup Revolution's Radiant Light in Exhale is just the highlighter of my dreams. It adds the nicest, most prettiest of sheens to the tops of my cheekbones and when it catches the light...aaaaah. If you pick up anything, it needs to be this.
