New Additions to the Haircare Routine.

In recent weeks I've become a little bit obsessed with my hair. I don't know if it's because I've got mad roots at the moment (hurry up Wednesday, hurry up Wednesday) or I've just harboured a hidden infatuation and only now has it reared it's head.
As a general rule, I'm all for the low maintenance 'do - I just can't be bothered spending time primping it everyday - but, like any girl, I am concerned with how my hair looks. I've spoken before about my love for boho hair (see this post here), and since that style looks better the more lived in it is, it's easy for me to uphold.
I've also talked about the upkeep of blonde hair and what products I tend to reach for - see this post here - in that post I praised the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder range and I still love it. The Shampoo & Conditioner along with the Brightening Oil Elixir work wonders in keeping my hair soft and vibrant. I thought I'd add to my collection by picking up the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray (£6.99) - to be sprayed throughout wet hair to help lighten blonde locks. I've not used it enough times to say it's actually worked a great deal yet but I'll be sure to have a review up as soon as I'm sure.
A second addition is a new release and comes in the form of John Frieda's Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray (£6.99) - I bought this on a recommendation from Lauren Conrad, see here. This stuff smells delicious! Lauren described it as smelling like vacation and I know exactly what she means, the scent just sends you to a tropical paradise. It's not heavy nor crispy, and adds just the right amount of texture to my hair.

If I've not already stated it enough (I have, many times over here and over twitter - sorry) Wednesday can't come quick enough. Maybe after I've had my mop chopped and my roots done I'll start liking my hair again.

  1. I kind of want to try that lightening spray, but i've heard some really scary things about it. Look up fluer de force's video on it if you're interested :)

    1. I've seen that video! I can hand-on-heart say though that I've been using the shampoo & conditioner for a long time and I've never had any problems - I have a really sensitive scalp too!
      hope that helps! :)
