The Spring Edit.

So since we're coming into the warmer more springier/summer months, it's about time for me to wave a fond farewell to my more heavier bases (so long for now MAC studio fix) and greet my much lighter foundations with open arms.

Now as the majority of you are aware, I have combination skin - whilst having some dry patches I do suffer from an oily t-zone so a primer is a MUST for me all year round but even more so in the spring/summer time. Before I start any of my makeup I spritz a little (or most of the time ALOT) of the Urban Decay B6 complexion prep spray just so my foundation has a little something to stick to. I've opted for the Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro primer as it's silicone based and keeps my foundation around for a much longer time. I then apply my favourite foundation of the moment Revlon's Nearly Naked in '120 vanilla' as it still gives a good amount of coverage whilst feeling light on the skin. It's then time for eyes and come summer, I can usually be found in a cream eyeshadow as they last foreverrrrrrrrrrrr. Maybelline's 'on and on bronze' 24 hr colour tattoo is a for sure favourite of mine, it can be swept all over the lid for a subtle shimmer or packed on quite heavily for a full on bronzey, smokey look. To complete my eye look I use lashings and lashings of Rimmel's Lash Accelerator Endless mascara as it really adds a good dose of length and volume to my otherwise crappy lashes. I then sweep Rimmel's Stay Matte powder over my t-zone to keep everything in check. To finish off I slick on Revlon's Lip Butter in Crème Brulee as it's a lovely nude shade and serves as a 3 in 1 product - lip balm, lipstick, lip gloss...WINNER.
