With new Hair, comes new Brows.

Since dyeing my hair fully blonde I've come to realise that the really strong, dark brow just doesn't fly on my face anymore.
I have to say that having to completely overhaul my brow routine wasn't something I'd taken into consideration when sitting in the hairdresser's chair a few weeks ago...

At first I struggled to find a colour to put through my brows, everything seemed too warm with orangey/red undertones. I figured that with the tone of blonde I went for plus the colour of my complexion, it was best to use some sort of ashy toned brown.
I managed to find this in the form of Naked 2 from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. It works well for my brows and gives them great colour that looks natural.
To fill those bad boys in I'm still relying on my trusty Real Techniques Brow Brush - I love this brush, it makes adding colour and definition to your eyebrows so quick and fuss-free.
To set, my H&M Eyebrow Fix has been a lifesaver. It's brill at setting the brows into place and making them look natural and un-blocky. And yes, I've still not picked up a new one.
Of course, a brow routine isn't complete without a Spoolie and a pair of Tweezers. A Spoolie is an everyday tool for me, I need it to brush my brows into submission before filling them in - they tend to have a life of their own otherwise. Tweezers I tend to use on a more weekly basis, just to get rid of any stragglers and strays.

As an avid lover of the Cara brow, I thought I'd hate the look of lighter ones but I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I prefer them. I feel nowadays, they're not so much a focal point of my face and more of a contributing factor to my overall makeup look.
