The best of the Nude Nails.

Now I love nude nails. Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm a sucker for a beigey-browny toned nail polish. They are my favourite colours to paint my talons with as they are simple, understated and go with every outfit. Now don't get me wrong, I do have a pretty extensive nail polish collection - but by no means are they all browns, beiges and greys. I do own bright and vampy polishes, but I tend to reserve them for days where I've already planned out an outfit, like events or parties and I need a pop of actual colour on my nails. Other than that, I like a strong nude.
I've compiled a few of my favourites - and don't worry, there are no high end counterparts in my polish collection, these are strictly within everybody's budget.

Barry M's Gelly in Almond - An extremely light toned grey. One of my all time favourite colours I will admit but I just wish it was a different formula - The gelly's tend to chip on me quite easily. Sigh

Essie's Sand Tropez - This is a cool toned beige. Great as an everyday shade and the Essie formula doesn't chip easily - especially when coated with a top coat of some sort. If I could only live with one nail polish for the rest of my life, it'd be this one. If only they did Barry M's Almond colour in this formula!

Bourjois' So Laque Glossy in Taupe Modele - A grey toned brown. Great for the nude lovers who aren't fans of beige. A good formula that's not completely prone to chipping and extremely glossy when dry.

H&M's Chocolate Fudge - A straight up chocolate-y brown shade. I like to wear this when I still want my nails to be nude but darker than my usual beige. There's been an upsurge of late in the sales of brown nail polish - it's no longer weird to want to wear it, though don't try and explain this to a guy - you've got no chance.

Barry M's Gelly in Lychee - A warm toned beige. Again, love the colour - not so much the formula. This one tends to apply really thick, no matter how many times I wipe the brush off but the colour's so pretty I try to ignore this as best I can.

H&M's Desert - Another warm toned beige but with a more orangey/peachy undertone. A great polish for those on a budget and I find H&M nail polishes tend to last a fair few days without chips if I apply a good top coat.
