Top 5 of the Moment.

It's been quite a while since a 'Top 5 of the Moment' post has been featured here at The Beauty Ideal
I'd been so consumed with thinking up new post ideas, I'd completely forgotten about my recurring ones.

I'll start with the MUA Pro Base Prime & Conceal Palette (£4.00). This is a more recent discovery and I've been loving incorporating it into my makeup routine. My complexion tends to have a lot of redness from blemishes and sensitivity, not to mention some gnarly bruise-like dark circles, so I've been impressed with it's coverage and colour correction.
For primer, I mentioned in this post here that I've been using a mixture of Revlon's Photoready Perfecting Primer (£11.99) and Benefit's Porefessional Primer. I love both in conjunction with one another but the Revlon one works well enough on it's own. It makes my skin feel soft and prepped for foundation whilst prolonging it's wear. Definitely worth the price.
Speaking of foundation, I've been completely besotted with No.7's Beautifully Matte Foundation (£13.50). It controls oils amazingly and I don't feel the need to powder every 5 minutes! even though it's a matte finish formula, it doesn't look dry or cakey on the skin and it's a complete dream to blend.
We all know by now that I can't stop raving about Essence's Make Me Brow (£2.50). It's such a great dupe for the Benefit version and a fraction of the price. It adds colour, texture and definition to brows and works well as a setting gel too. I can't recommend this product enough.
Lastly is an old favourite, Max Factor's False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara (£10.99). This used to be my holy grail mascara until I forced myself to realise just how much of a bleeding nightmare it was to remove! honestly, you'll have arms like Popeye scrubbing this stuff off. It's still a complete ballache to get off at the end of the day but it makes my lashes look that amazing I'm willing to put in the extra effort.
