My Everyday Makeup.

The whole point of everyday makeup is to be simple, easy and quick - basically just to make you look like a more polished version of yourself.
I try to abide by this rule when I'm applying my makeup on a day to day basis. I want something that's going to make me look awake and flawless but not like I've caked on tons of the stuff.
After moisturising, I like to apply a combination of Benefit's Porefessional Primer (£24.50 for full size) to minimise pores and Revlon's Photoready Perfecting Primer (£11.99) to prolong my foundation - these two work so well in conjunction with one another I'm still in awe.
As my base of choice in recent days I've been obsessed with No.7's Beautifully Matte Foundation (£13.50 - Thank you Emma from Emmy's Blog for introducing me to this!), this foundation is brilliant at controlling oil and keeping me shine-free throughout the day. I wore this on my birthday night out and didn't even re-powder once!
For under-eye circles and any blemishes/imperfections, I've been using a combination of MUA's Pro Base Prime & Conceal Palette (£4.00) and Maybelline's Better Skin Concealer (£5.99). I love that the concealer covers anything without caking and that the palette helps counteract any discolouration.
For my brows, I've been going for a heavier look using the H&M Eyebrow Shaping Kit (£2.99). The lightest shade is a good match for my brows and still looks natural even if I go outside my natural eyebrow shape. I've been setting them with Essence's Make Me Brow (£2.50) - love that stuff.
For adding colour and shape to my face, I've been really enjoying Illamasqua's Sculpting Powder Duo in Illuminate & Nefertiti (£26.00) to add a subtle contour and highlight to my cheekbones and temples. For blush, it's NYX's Angel (£6.00) always. It adds the loveliest, subtlest of flushes to the cheeks without making you look clown-like - most probably my favourite blush ever.
For powder, Bourjois' Healthy Balance Powder (£8.99) is my go-to. It keeps me matte for the longest time and the scent of it is just divine.
Moving on to those peepers, I always go for a neutral, matte brown eye. After applying MAC's Paint Pot in Groundwork (£15.50), I'll either go for Urban Decay's Naked 2 from my Naked Basics Palette (£23.00) or Makeup Revolution's Tob-le-rone or Milky from their Naked Chocolate Palette (£7.99).
After a quick curl of my lashes I like to add a fair few coats of Maybelline's Lash Sensational Mascara (£7.99). This is probably one of the best drugstore mascaras to be released in a long time. It adds amazing length, volume and separation to my lashes whilst maintaining a curl throughout the day. It's one of my favourites.
To finish off and to pull my entire everyday look together I've been getting some major mileage out of Essence's Long Lasting Nude Lipstick in 05 Cool Nude (£2.30). It falls into the Kylie Jenner mauvey-pink category and for the price, the pigmentation and the longevity, I'm more than happy with it. I also own the shade Come Naturally (a more cool browny-toned nude) and that's stunning too.

Although this post seems long, this entire look takes me like 15/20 minutes tops and if I'm ever in a rush I just skip eyeshadow and contour.
My Mum always says to me 'you've got good skin, why do you even bother wearing makeup?' - truth is, I love my makeup and I wear it because I enjoy the entire application process and the finished result. Applying my makeup is kind of like my 15 minutes peaceful prep for the day ahead - it makes me feel good and not because I'm not comfortable without it (there are many days I go out sans makeup) but because I enjoy makeup as a whole.

For any makeup junkie out there, there's no better feeling than that perfectly executed winged eyeliner or when your eyebrows are on fleek.
Am I right?!...I'm totally right.
