I've really gotten into the habit recently of switching up my makeup products and making sure I'm getting use out of all the ones I currently own. It's about time since I've got so bleeding many.
I've been loving Max Factor's FaceFinity Primer paired with Bourjois' Healthy Mix Serum recently. I don't know why I've never thought to pair them together before, they just work so well together and make my skin look amazing.
Concealer-wise, of course it has to be Maybelline's The Eraser. This is great for covering any redness and dark circles, and I'll occasionally use this on blemishes though it's not usually my first choice for them.
For adding colour to my complexion, it's been nothing but SEVENTEEN's Define & Conquer contour kit and Revlon's cream blush in Charmed Enchantment. The contour shade in the SEVENTEEN kit works well even for pale skin and I like to use the highlighting powder to set my under eye concealer. The blush is just a gorgeous berry colour and blends out like a dream.
For highlight, I've been rekindling my love for Soap & Glory's Glow All Out. It adds a beautiful glow to the tops of my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. I seriously do love this stuff. Another Soap & Glory product I've been re-using of late has been their One Heck of a Blot powder - I'd forgotten how good this powder was for mattifying my skin and keeping my oils at bay. I must remember to re-purchase.
For brows, the Maybelline Brow Satin has been my go-to. It still surprises me how quickly I can get them on in the mornings considering my disdain for them. This pencil just makes them look good no matter how messily I sketch them in.
Makeup Revolution's Focus & Fix eye primer in Brighten has been great recently for keeping my eyeshadows in place and making any shimmery ones 'pop' that little bit more. I've also been getting some serious use out of Maybelline's Colour Tattoo in On & On Bronze recently, I just love it's convenience and shade and it's great if you're ever in a hurry.
For mascara, Max Factor's False Lash Effect Waterproof has been brill for adding separation and volume to my lashes. It holds a curl amazingly but it's such a bloody nightmare to get off - all in a day's work I guess.
Lastly, my lipstick of choice has been MAC's Spirit. When I first bought this I didn't actually like it much, but it's just a great brown-nude for pale skintones that I've been wearing it pretty much every day.
I've been re-using alot of old favourites already this month and now I'm wondering why I ever stopped using them in the first place.
