The sheer elation I felt when I heard the doorbell ring this morning was quite frankly, a little embarrassing. So much so that I literally bounced down the stairs to open the front door.
I've been anticipating this parcel's arrival for the past 3/4 days. When I first heard about the Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection on twitter I practically fainted with delight. They are so gorgeous I can't even.
To be honest, when I did look at the entire line up for the brushes only two really jumped out at me - one being the 101 Triangle Foundation brush. I can't even put into words how amazing this brush is. It has the softest bristles yet is stiff enough to apply foundation flawlessly. Sam and Nic say that this line is more aimed at the professionals which is why they're more expensive than the originals, but I'd still say they're great for amateurs. If you're willing to pay the prices than they're definitely worth having.
My other need from this line is the 301 Flat Contour brush - as a girl crazy about contour, this was kind of a given but unfortunately it's currently sold out on the Boots' website.
