My Everyday Beauty Bits.

We all have those products that we use on a pretty much daily basis. The ones we reach for when we want perfectly flushed cheeks or a really dewy base. The ones that we know are going to stay in place all day and make us look as fabulous in the late afternoon as they did when we first applied them. I have a few of these that I grab everyday, everyday. Especially when I want to feel that extra bit sassy.

My Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening concealer has been my go-to under eye concealer of late. It's pink toned so it's great at covering my bruise-like dark circles that I've been suffering from quite badly recently - too much caffeine makes for too little sleep, who knew? - and it blends like a dream.
My go to contour colour - NYX blush in taupe. This is a makeup product that every pale girl should have in her arsenal. Guilty of over-indulging on an all too frequent basis? this item will become your new best friend. Great for chiselling out cheekbones that you never knew existed.
Of course, us oily gals gotta have that powder! my favourite is definitely Soap & Glory's One Heck of a Blot powder. It's a little on the pricey side at £12.00, but it's so finely milled that it goes barely undetectable on the skin and keeps my makeup in place for the majority of the day. I've just hit pan on mine but I'll be buying another as soon as it's ran out. A must from here on out.
Eyelash curlers are probably the most used tool in the beauty world aside from brushes. Mine set me back £1.00 from Primark and are still going strong. Nothing works better at opening the eyes than curling your lashes. It works wonders. Truly, it does. Whack on your favourite mascara and you're good to go.
Last up is perfume. I do have more than one perfume and I do like to switch it up when it comes to scents but I feel Lady Gaga's Fame is a great pick for everyday wear. Not too overpowering that you make everyone around you gag but interesting enough that people want to take a second whiff. It has lovely floral notes of crushed tiger orchidea and jasmin sambac combined with honey, saffron and apricot nectar. It's divine.

I do like to swap in different products every now and then - how else would I ever use up any of my stash?! but I do like to give everything a fair test run. After all, how would you know if it's re-purchase worthy if you've only used it a couple of times?

  1. The eyelash curler is key for me too! Totally necessary before applying mascara :)
