The Autumn/Winter lip edit.

I think most people would agree that one of the best things about the Autumn/Winter months is that wearing a bold lip colour during the day becomes the social norm. Myself included. It's okay to have it smeared on your teeth or get it around your mouth during lunch because odds are, the girl working in the cubicle next to you is in the exact same boat (be sure to carry a mirror in your bag for such occasions).
I've compiled a few of my favourite lippies I'll be digging out in the coming seasons.

MAC's Rebel - My go-to bold lip EVER. The first MAC lipstick I ever purchased and will continue to re-purchase each time it runs out. I love it. It's deep berry hues compliment a pale complexion so well but looks amazing on warmer skintones too. Perfect for updating your lip colour from summer sheer to winter chic.

Bourjois' Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist - The most recent addition to my lipstick collection in this line-up and I love it so much I've reviewed it here. A good pick for the bold-but-not-too-bold lip lover as it offers great pigmentation in a non-confrontational colour. A safe transition shade if you're not yet entirely confident rocking a statement lip.

Rimmel's Kate Moss Lasting Finish in 01 - If I'm not feeling the purple tones of Rebel that day then 9/10 this will be the lipstick I go for. It's a satin finish bluey-toned red and feels creamy on the lips. A good call for the red lip devotee with the not-so-deep pockets.

Revlon's Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie - The easiest colour to wear out of this lipstick squad. It's a sheer, glossy finish but can be built up to the desired intensity. Moisturising on the lips and a bargain buy. What more could you ask for?

Rimmel's Moisture Renew in Vintage Pink - I love this for everyday wear whatever the season. It's a lovely pinky-mauve colour and flatters any makeup look. Think Kylie Jenner only a little more intense. A true favourite of mine.

If you're a statement lip newbie then welcome!
But if you're still rocking the nude lip then step out of that comfort zone and treat yourself to a brick red shade - I recommend MAC's Russian Red for a splurge purchase! if Autumn/Winter isn't the perfect time to slap on those hues of rouge, when is?
