So I recently painted my nails in Essie's Mint Candy Apple...and only now do I truly understand the hype.
It is a B-E-A-utiful colour!
It's the perfect shade for spring/summer so I reckon I might be wearing it in the wrong season, but I do like to rock bright colours on my fingernails all year round (this probably stems from my lack of colour in my clothing choices, I wear a lot of black).
It's a lovely pastel bluey green, so fresh and crisp, and it has one of the most smoothest finishes I've seen from a nail polish in a long time.
As a rule, I do love Essie nail polishes. They have great pigmentation, fabulous colour pay off and are pretty smooth finishes - and Mint Candy Apple has definitely made the top 10 of my favourite Essie nail polishes. They cost £7.99 per bottle, which yes ok, is a little bit on the pricier side for a nail polish BUT I'm a strong believer in 'you get what you pay for' and I'm never usually disappointed with Essie (except the shade 'Sugar Daddy', definitely not one of my faves).
I've also bought this for Paigen as a filler for her birthday glam bag! she loves green so I reckon she's going to be pretty chuffed with this little gem!
