Want Boho Hair? No problem.

So the warmer months will soon be upon us and with them comes beachier hair. If we're being completely honest, I tend to wear boho waves all year round but I know come Summer - with the beach days and the festivals - us girls like to rock the bedhead mane.
I love boho waves. It's probably the only hairstyle that looks better the longer you wear it and I'm all for the low maintenance do's.
There are three things that I swear by when I'm creating messy waves - they add texture, longevity and general unkemptness to my overall look and I couldn't be without them.
Now I'll start by saying that I really rate Schwarzkopf's Got2b range, it's my favourite when it comes to picking up hair products. I've never disliked anything I've bought, all of their products smell delicious and their Beach Matt Mermaid Look Texturising Salt Spray is honestly the best salt spray I've ever come across. I spritz a little of this into wet hair to add texture before blow-drying, it doesn't leave my hair feeling stiff or crunchy and does a good job of holding styles. Sometimes I'll occasionally spray this into my curls for a little extra texture.
I believe every girl should own a teasing comb. They're vital for adding volume to your roots and you can pick them up cheap from pretty much anywhere. I like to use mine to muss up the curls further and to add a little bit of height to the crown of my head. I found mine on ebay for £1.99.
A styling powder is something that I never used to use in my hair routine, since picking one up recently I'm not sure how I ever lived without one. The Schwarzkopf POWDER'ful Volumising Styling Powder is amazing at adding oomph to my roots and and keeping my hair looking full and tousled.

Anything to keep my hair looking as unbrushed as possible is always welcome in my haircare routine, and I'm currently loving the one I've got going on at the moment.

  1. I may have to try this beach spray, been looking at it for a while now. I like the beach wave look for the spring/summer time.
