Mini Drugstore Haulin'...

I know, I know - I'm at it again.
I just can't help but wander into Boots/Superdrug when I'm on my way to work! my feet just automatically head that way.
Typically, this week I found myself in front of the Makeup Revolution counter in Superdrug with no recollection of how I got there so I figured I'd pick up the Iconic 1 palette. This palette has been labelled a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 1 palette - I couldn't tell you because I don't currently own the Urban Decay offering. However, I will be upfront and say that I only bought the palette because I fell in love with the golden colour right there in the middle. My mind thought it'd be a better idea to buy a palette rather than a single eyeshadow.
One thing I did need was an eye cream. I've been without it for a week or so now because I just kept forgetting to pick it up - I've repurchased the Simple Regeneration Age Resisting eye cream. It adds hydration, stops concealer from caking and combats wrinkles all in one.
Other things I needed (well needed in the loosest sense of the word) were false lashes and hairspray. Eylure's Pro Lash Individuals are my all time favourites - and if I remember to peel them off gently I can get two or three uses out of them. Hairspray was something else that I kept forgetting to pick up on my daily duties - the Schwarzkopf Got2b 2 Sexy holds like a dream and smells delicious.
I also popped two blushes into my basket - I need to start building on my blush collection instead of continually using NYX's Angel. I bought the Revlon cream blush in Charmed Enchantment - a beautiful mauvey pink colour and Sleek's Pomegranate, which again is a darker berry shade. I fell head over heels for their swatches but I've yet to try them on my face.
Lastly, I picked up the Loreal True Match concealer. I've been wanting to try this for ages now and the colour match is great for me. It covers and blends like a boss.

Note to self: STOP spending money.
