Another month over, another 'Favourites' post heading your way.
February has been quite an eventful month for me, I've found out that I've gotten into Uni so I'll be re-attending in September - yay!
It's also my older brother's birthday tomorrow and he'll be turning the grand old age of 29 - like the good sister that I am, I've sent him his birthday card in the post. Two big thumbs up to me - it was Funky Pigeon-ed after all.
I've been getting along swimmingly with my Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 palette - particularly those golden and bronze colours right in the middle. I've been using them to re-create a Kendall Jenner inspired shadow look (watch this space for a 'get the look', I've not posted one in forever). The shadows are highly pigmented and last well throughout the day and for £4.00, you'd be a fool to not pick this up.
I've already raved about my love for the Maybelline Brow Satin - see this post here - so I'll just say that I really rate it for a drugstore brow pencil. I use the shade Dark Blond and it's been my go-to brow product of late.
Another product from Maybelline that I've been getting alot of use out of is The Eraser. It's been great at covering my under-eye circles and as I've previously stated, I've not been wearing foundation recently and this has been brilliant at covering any red areas on my face. A nightmare to get hold of, but well worth the buy.
SEVENTEEN isn't a brand that I usually gravitate towards in the drugstore, but since seeing Lily Melrose use this in one of her videos I had to get my hands on it. I've been contouring with their Instant Glow Cream Bronzer over the past couple of weeks and I've been loving it. It's a dream to blend and looks good, even on my pale skin.
My last favourite of February has been The Body Shop's Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash. This is so refreshing to use morning and night, and it really does aid in combating blemishes and preventing further breakouts. I'll definitely be re-purchasing once I've run out.
To be honest, if I'd talked about all the favourites I've had this month this post would resemble a novel. For your sanity - and mine - I've cut it down to a much more manageable chunk.
Typical.
