A reliable base for every face.

Us girls all know the struggle of finding a foundation that both colour matches nicely and sits well on the skin. I completely understand that it is no mean feat testing base upon base looking for the perfect one.
My skin is a combination of oily and dry. I get a really oily t-zone throughout the day, but if I don't moisturise daily my skin will literally start to flake - mainly through my t-zone. I know, it's strange. Anyway, it's really hard for me to find a foundation that sits well on dry patches yet doesn't slip off any oily areas.
Truth be told, I'm still looking, but I have compiled a pretty impressive foundation stash that has one for every skin type. Sometimes my skin is more on the drier side, and sometimes it's more on the oilier side - your skin can be unpredictable on a daily basis, which is why it's important to have more than just one foundation.
Here are three I've grown to love and work well for me every time I slap them on my face.

The one for normal skin/days where my skin's looking pretty decent - This is a good one from the drugstore if you're looking for an everyday foundation and your skin doesn't suffer from many problems. The Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation is a light-ish, buildable coverage, dries to a semi-matte finish and has a great shade range considering it is from the high street.

The one for oily skin/days where my skin is totally screwed - The MAC Studio Fix Fluid is a Godsend. It's definitely up there with my all time favourite foundations. It has an incredible range of shades with tons of different undertones so it would be next to impossible to not find one to match your skintone, it has amazing coverage and it dries to an almost satin-like finish. It keeps my oils under control throughout the day when set with a powder and I've not found a foundation with a better colour match for my skin. I love it.
Retail Price: £21.50

The one for dry skin/days where my skin's looking dull - This foundation adds a great perk to tired, sallow-looking skin. It's medium coverage with a semi-dewy finish and glides over dry patches like a dream. The Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum is fantastic and even though it is a partly dewy finish, I can still use it even though my skin's oily - it sits really well after being set with a powder. Not to mention the smell is just...aaaah.
Retail Price: £10.99
