The "I had 8 hours kip last night, honest" eye.

We've all been there. We've stayed up a little late the night before watching one too many episodes of Orange is the New Black. We've dedicated a little too much time to work after hours or my personal fave, we've been really getting into a book and before we know it it's two in the morning. 

Come tomorrow, your peepers are going to be the dead giveaway to your late night but never fear...I've got you covered into tricking everyone (most importantly, your boss) into thinking you've had a cracking night's sleep. 

Firstly, you're going to want to get rid of any unsightly dark circles that may be lurking in your under eye area, Bourjois' Happy Light concealer can help you out there. Take some on your ring finger and pat it in, getting as close to your lower lash line as you're comfortable with. It's also best to set this with a powder so it stays in place all day. 

Next, load some of Urban Decay's Walk of Shame onto your eyelid with a dense brush - I've gone with Real techniques' domed shadow brush - to get rid of any imperfections or unevenness (apply primer first if you need to), following up with a little of Naked 2 in the crease using the Real Techniques' Duo Fiber eye brush to create a little definition. Take some of this under the lower lash line too. 

To finish off the shadow add a little of Venus to the browbone and tear duct area as a highlight. This'll make your eyes look ten times brighter.

Line your water line with Rimmel's Scandaleyes kohl pencil in 'Nude' to revitalize your tired-looking eyes and conceal any redness that may still be loitering. A quick curl of your eyelashes to open them a little further and add a few coats of the mascara of your choice to your top and bottom lashes - I've gone with Maybelline's Mega Plush volume Express mascara as it adds tons of volume and makes my eyes look that little bit perkier.
